Inspired By: Adele in British Vogue November 2021

The images of Adele for the November 2021 issue of British Vogue have been released and have just about broken the Internet-and understandably so! Looking absolutely stunning, the soulful songstress is on track to reemerge with much-awaited new music alongside new insights on her life and career so far.

Of all the images, this simple closeup was my favorite:

In a world full of IG makeup that requires gobs of foundation, glitter, and neon, Adele's understated yet polished look is as refreshing as an autumn breeze. With her signature black liquid liner, gently defined brows, softly contoured cheekbones, rosy lips and the slightest touch of well-placed shimmer shadow, I predict that this will be the go-to makeup look for the rest of the season, especially since such neutral tones look fantastic on all skin tones. Below, here are my product recommendations with links attached to help you recreate the look at home.

Mally Pro Perfect Precision Eyebrow Pencil ($26): This is my personal go-to for brows that are shapely but still natural.

Dominique Cosmetics Transitions Palette ($48): This cult favorite features a host of matte neutrals that can be used for the eyes and for face contouring.

Too Faced Born This Way The Natural Nudes Eyeshadow Palette ($48): The range of neutral mattes and shimmer shadows are perfect for adding a pop of radiance to the lids.

Wander Beauty High Line Liquid Eyeliner ($22): Another personal favorite of mine, this liner pen can create a sharp wing that makes a liquid liner novice look like an expert.

Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara ($24): While you *could* use falsies for thick lashes, this mascara delivers the same effect without the hassle.

TLB Beauty Glow On Highlighting Blush in "Outspoken" ($14): When applied with a fluffy brush, this warm coral adds a gorgeous wash of warm color to the cheeks.

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in Secret Salma ($34): This matte rose shade is a perfect foil for the bold plums and understated nudes we usually see during the fall.
